Investigating Nominalization and Verbalization in Some Selected Ayas in Holy Quran

This study investigates identification and classification of nominal and verbal phrases in selected Ayahs of Holy Quran. Nominal phrases, typically structured around nouns, emphasize stability and certainty, whereas verbal phrases, centered around verbs, highlight action and transformation. Through analyzing these linguistic structures, study aims to uncover their syntactic roles and theological significance in Quranic discourse. Research employs a theoretical framework on phrase structure, followed by an in-depth analysis of Quranic Ayahs to categorize and interpret these phrases. Findings confirm that nominal phrases reinforce universal truths and divine attributes, while verbal phrases facilitate commands, narrative progression, and instructional clarity. The study concludes that Quran systematically employs these linguistic forms to enhance rhetorical effectiveness and convey profound religious messages.
