An Evaluation of the Organizational Development of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences from the Perspective of its Faculty Members

The current research aims to:
- Identify the level of organizational development within the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The research population consisted of the faculty members of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Basic Education, University of Mosul, who were selected purposively to achieve the research objectives. The population comprised (31) faculty members. The research sample included (28) faculty members after excluding the researcher, the department head, and the department coordinator, thus representing (90.32%) total research population.
The Al-Dabbagh (2022) scale, consisting of (48) items, was adopted. After review by experts, no items were deleted or modified, and the scale was approved as is.
The researcher concluded the following:
- The faculty members of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences possess organizational development.
- The level of organizational development among the faculty members of the Dept. of Physical Education and Sports Sciences is very high.
The researcher recommends the following:
- Focusing on organizational development through the continuous organization of courses, workshops, and seminars.
- Enhancing and improving organizational development.
